About Me

Medical Journey and Academic Foundations

I was born in Trabzon in 1977. I derived my interest in medicine from the dynamic structure of the Black Sea region. I graduated from Karadeniz Technical University Faculty of Medicine in 2000. I completed my specialization training at Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Neurosurgery and proved my academic and clinical competence as a Neurosurgeon in 2007.

Pioneering Surgical Interventions in Anatolia

At Muş State Hospital, where I was assigned for mandatory service, I made a first that was of vital importance for the people of the region: I initiated microscopy-assisted lumbar and cervical disc surgeries for the first time in Muş province. During the same period, I assumed responsibility for the Deputy Chief Physician and Intensive Care Units. I fulfilled my military service as a Reserve Officer in the Neurosurgery department of Eskişehir Air Hospital.

Clinical Expertise and Surgical Approach

After an intensive 6-year working period at Izmir Private Tınaztepe Hospital, I established my own clinic in Izmir Alsancak to provide a more boutique and focused service to my patients. I adopt the principle of 'First, do no harm' (Primum non nocere) in my surgical practice. Today, I perform surgical operations for complex cases such as Brain Tumors, Brain Hemorrhages, Lumbar and Cervical Disc Herniations, and Spinal Stenosis at Private Gazi Hospital and Acıbadem Kent Hospital.

Health Policies and Social Vision

I work not only as a surgeon but also as a thinker who produces health policies. Through the Laurasia Politic (LP) think tank, of which I am the founder and president, I conduct analyses on health management, biotechnology ethics, and geostrategic issues.

Technology and Innovation Integration

I am aware that the future of medicine will be shaped by data science and artificial intelligence. I actively use Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data analytics methods in the workflows I have developed in my clinic. My mastery of coding and algorithm logic has enabled me to integrate 'Precision Medicine' applications into my clinic in patient follow-up and diagnostic processes.
